出羽三山のひとつ、湯殿山。山中で修行を行う山伏が生まれかわりを果たす聖地といわれる。錦秋に同化する大鳥居にただならぬ荘厳を感じます。
Mt. Yudono, one of the three mountains of Dewa, in Tohoku region. It is said to be a sacred place where Yamabushi (mountain priest), who practices in the mountains with the belief in reincarnation. Standing there alone, I felt the overwhelming majesty of the Otorii (the giant gate) that blends in the autumn colors.
