コロナで縮小された城崎灯篭流しのイベント 以前と違い活気がありませんでしたが、廃れる事なくいつまでも続けばなと感じました。

I participated in the annual Rokko Meat Tour light-up event for the first time. The colorful lights shining on the botanical garden were fantastic. There were many people who forgot their tripods, so I took a picture handheld.

兵庫県香住にある無病息災の火祭り 小さいイベントですが長年地元住民だけで行われた祭りに参加させて頂きました。 皆さん凄くよくして下さって人情溢れる祭りでクライマックスをきりとりました。

Meiji Jingu shrine during snowfall

Today there was heavy snowfall in Tokyo area. I was literally waiting for this day for a long time since 2018 and finally today my dream come true. This is meiji jingu area. Looks so beautiful

It is "Yokote kamakura" in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture. "Kamakura" is a small New Year's event dedicated to the god of water, and children among the kamakura shout "Enter! They talk to tourists and treat them with mochi and amazake. This photo is from the "Kamakura" photo session venue, but the best position was super full and I regretted being late, but if I dared to take it from a position where no one was looking, I was able to take a really nice photo and I was very satisfied with the "Kamakura" photo.

Was walking past a park in Arakawa the other day and came across this interesting statue. I think the name is read as Honda Takatomo 本田 貴侶 but it was difficult to find any information. I kept finding stuff showing the same statue but instead of "聖なるもののリピドー" they all show "聖なるもののリビドー" I'm not sure what the differences are though. Perhaps there are multiple statues in different locations? All the ones I saw referred to this statue in Arakawa though so maybe there's a misprint or something? Also I'm not sure what "リピドー" or "リビドー" means, but if anyone has any idea about what the statue's meaning is I'd love to hear it! Either way it's a nice looking statue. I always enjoy finding things like this around different parts of Japan, they really add to the atmosphere of the city.
