Welcome to Mt. Takao in winter 😊 Winter on Mt. Takao brings crisp air and many clear days that offer great views of Mount Fuji. It’s also nice that you can visit easily from Central Tokyo. At dusk you may be able to see Diamond Fuji from the summit on certain days. When visibility is good, Mount Fuji’s outline becomes striking and easy to capture in photos. The light at dawn and dusk changes the mountain’s expressions, giving you different views to enjoy. You can reach partway up by cable car or lift, so you can tailor the outing to your fitness level. Snow-dusted trees and quiet trails have a gentle, refined charm that looks wonderful in photos. The wind feels sharp, and your breath turns white—moments unique to winter. Because sunset comes early, warm clothing and a light are essential. Wear shoes with good traction. Warming up with a bowl of hot soba at the foot of the mountain is a winter treat. Mt. Takao shows different faces through the seasons, and winter is one of them—consider adding it to your plans. Come dressed warmly.

Welcome to Hachioji, here’s today’s recommended outing guide♪ Come and try a little adventure in a town where nature and history breathe through the seasons. Let’s walk with energy and find new scenery. It’s enjoyable for families with children and solo travelers alike. In the morning, listen to birdsong along quiet forest paths and savor the crisp air and earthy scents. At midday, take a leisurely stroll through the old shopping streets and temples, and enjoy sampling treats at tiny lane-side shops. In the evening, the soft glow of dusk wraps the town and makes for beautiful photos. Each season offers rich scenes, from spring blossoms to autumn foliage, so consider visiting again at a different time of year. Bring comfortable walking shoes, a camera, and a light layer for comfort. If you prefer to avoid crowds, choosing weekdays or earlier morning hours often lets you enjoy a calmer visit. For the latest public transport and tourist information, checking official notices gives peace of mind. Some restaurants may accept cash only, so having a little on hand is wise. If you find a spot you love, tell us in the comments—it makes others want to go too. We welcome you to share photos with hashtags when you take them. Consider adding Hachioji to your plans for the next weekend. Please remember to be considerate of others when taking photographs. #Hachioji #Day trip

Welcome to winter at Mt. Takao It’s a season when crisp air and frost on the trees make a soft sound with every step. The distant views from the summit are clear, and the cold wind sharpens the skin. Frost and snow catch the light at the tips of leaves. You can enjoy snowy scenery on a short day hike, and if you walk more slowly you can feel the forest’s breathing. Stopping at a tea house for a warm drink eases the chill. In the morning you may hear faint bird song, with only the sound of boots on snow breaking the silence. On clear days the air’s transparency can make distant mountains stand out. After descending, soaking away the chill in a nearby onsen is a good option. Onsens are gentle on hiking fatigue, so bringing a towel and a change of clothes gives peace of mind. If you want to avoid crowds, consider an early weekday visit. Comfortable walking shoes, warm outerwear, and easily removable layers make the trip more pleasant. Bringing a light snack makes breaks easier, and traveling light helps you move freely and take photos. Frame shots with a wider angle to include more sky and trees. On snowy days, enjoy yourself while taking care of your footing and surroundings. Consider adding this to your next plans. #Winter scenery https://www.softbank.jp/internet/option/bbphone/...
