Man this is so cool! Leave it to Kyoto to have not only tons of amazing temples and shrines, but also some historic boat houses! Looking at this just gets me raring to go fishing lol. It's been so long since I've been. It'd probably be a good idea to get my own tackle and go for a fishing trip. I could even try making my own sushi although idk how great it would taste 😂The second picture in the article makes it look like paradise too. I'd love to visit the hot spring as well. I have a public bath near my place but I haven't been able to get out to an actual hot spring lately. Ine looks like a great place though, really rustic and detached from the every day hustle and bustle of the city. Just one more thing to add to my bucket list when I visit Kyoto again!

Man that's a lot of meat! I love yakiniku though so I wouldn't be surprised if I could eat all of it 😂 I haven't went to a yakiniku restaurant in a while since we just cook it at home in our nabe, but I'd love to go to a yakiniku restaurant again soon. The atmosphere is always really nice and it's nice to get out and have a beer with some friends over some delicious meat. I used to always go to this all-you-can-eat style yakiniku restaurant with friends some years back but with everyone living in different places I haven't been able to do so in a while. I'm pretty sure I've never went to Ushimatsu, but dang does it look good. I'm a huge fan of the toasted bread and meat too, looks tasty! If I'm ever in Minato and looking to splurge I'll have to give this place a visit!

HA! Soba eaten with just an entire leek for a spoon. I'd love to try this. My girlfriend loves green onions so I'm sure she'd love this too 😂 I think one of the great things about Japan is that not only is the food really delicious, but it's also generally really healthy too. I'd certainly agree that this is innovative! As I've been informed there's also laver not wakame as well as nameko mushrooms in the soup! Sounds delicious to me! I had some really good soba over New Years as well but I never thought to use a leek for a spoon! I'll have to try it out next time I eat it at home! Ouchi-Juku looks like a really cool place in Fukushima as well. It reminds me of Shirakawa-go with the thatched rooves.

Looking at this picture I realized I've never actually seen fireworks in the snow. I've done them for New Years of course, but living in Tokyo it doesn't snow much. Also where I was from the in the US we didn't get a lot of snow either. This looks like a lot of fun though. I didn't get to do fireworks this New Years but I was able to have a lot of fun still. Ate some great food with some great people and had fun playing games together. I've visited Aomori a few times in the past though and it was a lot of fun so maybe next year I'll head out there and enjoy these fireworks for New Years! Either way, this Kabushima Shrine looks really beautiful on top of the hill. The path leading up to the shrine and the torii gates are really neat. I looked it up a little more and it looks like a lot of seagulls gather at the shrine as well. Makes sense since it's right next to the beach. Really awesome!

Had a blast going to Sensoji Last year and had some really good ramen in the area as well. Would have loved to go this year as well, but probably better to not. Haven't gotten to ride a rickshaw at Sensoji yet but it definitely seems like a lot of fun. I rode one with my girlfriend when we went to Hirosaki Castle a few years ago and it was a blast. The rickshaw puller? was really cool and gave us a lot of facts about the castle and told some stories and we had a really great time. I never knew about the Kabuki thief characters that were in the area. I'll have to keep an eye out for them when I get the chance to visit Asakusa again in the future. I've also wondered how comfortable the tabi shoes are too, maybe I'll pick some up next time, they look really fashionable actually! The guy pulling the rickshaw in the video was really nice as well, really cool that they have tours in English for non Japanese speakers.

Seafood Mehico Asakusa - Looks sooo delicious! I'm a huge fan of everything this dish has bread, cheese, and chicken. Also haven't had any Mexican food in a while so it'd be nice to try some again for a change. Last time I had it in Japan was at a small restaurant in the countryside. It's quite different than the Mexican food in America but just as delicious probably more and the portion sizes are much healthier 😆 I noticed it also seems like the ingredients are usually more... refreshing? It's hard to explain but it feels like the ingredients are of a higher quality overall. Maybe I can enjoy some for the holidays if I'm lucky!
