Went down to Takamatsu over the 3 day weekend last week. It was the first time either one of us had been to Shikoku before and it was a lot of fun. I'm surprised it's not talked about more, as there's so much stuff to do. We stayed near Takamatsu pretty much the whole time and we still didn't get to visit every place that we wanted to go. The first day mostly consisted of Ritsurin Park. The park garden itself was quite large and there was a lot of beautiful sights to see. We really wanted to go on the boat ride throughout the park's pond, but unfortunately it started to rain just a tiny bit and they closed the boat for the rest of the day, just before we arrived...☔️ Even still we had a lot of fun walking around the park. There were a lot of koi and turtles swimming in the pond too. We stopped by a small cafe-like building inside the park and i got an ice cream float and she got a coffee. In front of the shop one of the custodians came by with a big bucket of fish food and created a feeding frenzy amongst the koi. I'm pretty sure I saw a single catfish in there as well. After we finished our drinks we climbed to one of the best viewing spots in the park which had a really amazing view of the bridge and the pond. You can see the people on the boat we didn't get to ride too lol🥲 The one building shown in photo 9 was actually a tea house where I think you could try traditional tea ceremony and eat sweets as well, but they also seemed to offer just a normal tea drinking experience as well. We decided not to try it, but if you like tea ceremony it looked quite nice.

Turquoise sea and red torii gate are two most popular attractions of Shirahama. Summer is undoubtedly best time to visit here and I had some great memories during our last trip to Shirahama.

海の灯まつりinお台場 毎年7月の海の日にに海の安全を祈願して、七色の紙袋にろうそくの火を灯し、お台場ビーチに光のページェントを織りなすイベント。

富岡八幡宮の例祭は8月15日を中心に行われます。俗に「深川八幡祭り」とも呼ばれ、赤坂の日枝神社の山王祭、神田明神の神田祭とともに「江戸三大祭」の一つに数えられています。3年に1度、八幡宮の御鳳輦が渡御を行う年は本祭りと呼ばれ、53基の町神輿が勢揃いして連合渡御する様は「深川八幡祭り」ならではのものです。深川のお祭りは「ワッショイ、ワッシヨイ」の伝統的な掛け声と「水掛け祭」の別名通り、沿道の観衆から担ぎ手に清めの水が浴びせられ、担ぎ手と観衆が一体となって盛り上がるのが特徴で、江戸の粋を今に伝えるお祭りとして、多くの人々によって大切に受け継がれています。

[Englsih／日本語] We recently went on an excursion to the Takao Komagino Garden. It was a 15-minute walk from Takao Station. It was a very hot day, but there was a stream running along the way, which was very cool. It was very cool inside the Japanese house, and the students looked in wonder at the bonsai trees that were displayed in various places. I was amazed at the beauty of the dry landscape in the garden, and was fascinated by the beauty of Nishikigoi carp. The lotus flowers were in full bloom. 先日、遠足で高尾駒木野庭園に行きました。高尾駅から徒歩15分。とても暑い日でしたが、道の途中で小川が流れていて、とても涼しげでした。日本家屋の中はとても涼しくて、ところどころに飾ってある盆栽を学生たちは不思議そうに眺めていました。学生たちは庭の枯山水のすばらしさにおどろき、錦鯉の美しさにうっとりしてました。ちょうど蓮が見ごろでした。

道後温泉に立ち寄った際に風鈴の音色に導かれやってきた廊下 綺麗でした😌

前から行きたかった愛媛のしもなだ駅にようやく訪れる事が出来ました😀雰囲気ある素敵な駅でした

丹波にある高源寺の風鈴祭りで立ち寄った時に集会場にあった七夕雰囲気がよく愛犬も願いを込め撮影させて頂きました

今年の7月に長浜に友人と行った時に見つけた大きな万華鏡の写真です！ドーム状になっていて手動でレバーを回すと中で綺麗な万華鏡が観れるものでした。外側が風車のようにくるくる回る姿が綺麗だったので撮りました

A summer farmland of Hokkaido ... The light and shadow makes the whole land picturesque during the afternoon. A land that cover in snow for most of the time of the year but during summer it looks so colorful and beautiful...

Hokkaido is a great summer destination as this place is less humid than other parts of Japan during summer and more flowery. This summer flower park, shikisainooka , is one such place that is very popular during that time. Its a kind of flower paradise. Very relaxing and eye shootings.
