Summer doesn't represent only cicadas it also represent the beautiful butterflies. During the summer time various kind of butterfly can be seen specially in the park area. This photo was taken from Hamarikyu garden in Tokyo. This garden is famous for its summer cosmos flowers. Butter on the red summer cosmos looks magnificent. For taking this photo I need to wait for a long time since the butterfly was not sitting at all. But finally I was very satisfied.

I visited many times Shinjuku national park but after watching "Garden of words" I fall more in love with this garden and I decided to visit it in summer season. Luckily the day was rainy day. [English／日本語] A temple called "Shinshoin" in Nishi-Hachioji has a café attached to it. Visitors can spend tea time in a quiet atmosphere. The school introduces students who are interested in matcha to places in Hachioji where they can drink it. 西八王子にある「信松院」というお寺にはカフェが併設されています。静かな雰囲気の中でティータイムを過ごすことができます。学校では抹茶に興味を持った学生に八王子市内で抹茶が飲める場所を紹介しています。

A Japanese aesthetic concept has developed around the beauty of a scene of a garden or nature framed by a circle window. The circle windows are referred to as the "Window of Enlightenment". This was a unique experience during my Kamakura trip. I was very excited to see this place. Previously once I tried to go to Genkou-an shrine during my Kyoto trip but unfortunately, it was closed at that time. Finally, during the summer, I got a chance to see this beautiful view at Meigetsuin temple. The calm and peaceful atmosphere of the shrine already gave peace of mind but this view has something special.

Was back in Kanda today for the first time in a while, but I decided to go back to the same izakaya I visited a few months ago. The food is really great and again it wasn't very crowded since I went a bit early. If you're in the Kanda area I recommend checking it out. Kakuuchi Inagaki (角打 いながき). They offer extra helpings of rice for free and also free refills of miso soup!

愛知県豊田市小渡町で8月いっぱい行われてる『小渡の夢かけ風鈴』です。 いろんな種類の風鈴が町全体にかけられており、風が吹くと一斉に鳴る様はとても風流です。 風鈴の色付け体験や浴衣の着付けなどもやっています。 小さな川も流れており風鈴の音と河のせせらぎで涼まれるのはいかがでしょう?

Tambo art is one of the most popular artistic activity in Japan during the summer time. In tambo art the whole paddy field used as a canvas. Different colored or varieties of rice or paddy are planted to create the an amazing picture depending on the theme of that year. This is from Fukui prefecture's Takefu knife village where the school students prepared this beautiful cherry tree using tambo art. Its really very attractive and unique activity which everyone would love to see. The best time to enjoy this kind art varies but August to September might be the best time.

The last couple photos I wanted to post from our trip to Takamatsu. The first one was at one of the stations by Ritsurin Park. It just tells you not to try and go past the railway crossing after the bar has come down but I thought the pictures on it were pretty funny lol. The second was just one of the manholes that I thought looked nice. Snapped a photo of it outside of Takamatsu Castle
