What is the Ise-ebi Festival??<br>The Ise-ebi Festival takes place every September in conjunction with the opening of the Ise-ebi (Japanese spiny lobster) fishing season at 29 participating stores along the coastal areas of Saiki City, Oita Prefecture, and Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture! For three months, you can enjoy plenty of fresh and vibrant Ise-ebi dishes! 🦐✨<br>The coastline stretching from Saiki City in the southern tip of Oita Prefecture to Nobeoka City at the northern edge of Miyazaki Prefecture enjoys a mild climate year-round. This sea faces the clear currents of the Pacific Ocean, rich in nutrients, providing the perfect environment for Ise-ebi to thrive.
