Access to the Hachioji Matsuri Venue and Event Dates and Times
The Hachioji Matsuri is typically held around early August each year, primarily along Koshu-kaido and Nishi-Hoshasen You Road. The main venue is the stretch of Koshu-kaido from the intersection in front of JR Hachioji Station to Oiwake Intersection. JR Hachioji Station is centrally located in Hachioji City, making it easily accessible for visitors.
During the festival, finding available parking can be challenging, so using public transportation is recommended.
The festival is scheduled for three days: Friday, August 1st, Saturday, August 2nd, and Sunday, August 3rd, 2025.
Access from central Tokyo to Hachioji is as follows: via the Chuo Line, approximately 48 minutes from Tokyo Station on the Chuo Tokkyu, 1 hour and 5 minutes on the Chuo Kaisoku; via the Keio Line, about 40 minutes from Shinjuku Station to Keio-Hachioji Station.
