【6/19 Ukishima Wetland Information】Hello. This is the Takikami Town Tourism Association.
Yesterday, I went to Ukishima Marshland for guidance.
Although it was closed last time, the bio-toilet installed in the Ukishima wetland parking lot can now be used. There is no electricity inside, so it is convenient to have a light source such as a flashlight.
The walking path to the marshland is widely cut with bamboo trees, which improves ventilation and there are almost no muddy areas. You can walk around in trekking shoes or athletic shoes.
In the marshland, "Chinguruma" was in the final stages, but "Isoazalea" was in full bloom and "cotton sedge" was in full bloom, and it colored the marshland.
"Ukishima Marshland" is characterized by a high-rise wetland at an altitude of 860m, which is rare in Hokkaido. It is a place where you can fully enjoy the beautiful wetlands, swamps, and floating islands created by the long workings of natureWhy don't you enjoy a walk with a local guide? For details, please contact the Takikami Town Tourism Association! TEL:0158-29-2730
※※Please be sure to access the Ukishima wetland from the Kamikawa Town side. The upper side of the waterfall is closed to traffic. Please see the image for details※※
※※The area around Ukishima Marshland is a habitat for brown bears! ※※
To avoid meeting bears!
○ Be careful if you find any traces of bears (droppings, footprints, digging up the ground).
○ Stay away from places with haunting signs.
○Be especially careful in the early morning, evening, and in case of rain.
○ Act while making sounds with bells and radios.
○Pay attention to narrow places such as streams and places with poor visibility.
Please take as many measures as possible, such as carrying bear repellent spray and acting with multiple people.

Introducing ? Obihiro Station, which was built to express the natural beauty of Tokachi
First of all, if you explore the north side of Obihiro Station ...
You can see the rails that were restored to the position where the railway was first laid in Meiji 38. The first railway to open was between Obihiro ~ Kushiro, the current Nemuro Main Line, and ? trains arrived and departed ? from here at that time.
In front of the bus terminal, there is a fountain that reminds you of water gushing from the mountains. In the vicinity, there are Ezo deer that live in the mountain forests of Tokachi ... ?
In addition, the roof of the station building is designed in the image of one of the symbols of Tokachi, the Hidaka Mountains and the Daisetsu Mountains.
The elevated walls are also ingenious.
The elevated wall on the south side depicts the Daisetsu Mountains and the Tokachi River incorporating Ainu patterns, and the Hidaka Mountains and windbreak forests are depicted on the north side.
This depicts the scenery that is going in the direction from now on. If you like, please ? take a look when you go through the overpass.

Haisai! It is a varied ~ staff. ?
The area that started climbing the slope from the bustling city of Naha toward the ancient city of Shuri is the Matsukawa area.
I always passed by this area casually, but in fact, it is an interesting area to learn about Okinawa's history and folk culture ( * '艸')
From stories about the terrain to legends handed down to the region... You can also hear interesting stories
Because it is with a guide! (^_-)-☆
The standard course is not enough! I want to know more about Okinawan culture! Recommended for those who say.
