【Flowering Information 6】Cosmos pruning in Saitobaru

The cosmos of Saitobaru is in best time to visit, and it is being trimmed to prepare rape flowers.

There are 6 public Toilet in Saitobaru Kofun Tumulus (Imperial Tomb Square, Takatoriyama Car, 1st Kofun Tumulus Car, 2nd Kofun Tumulus Car, 3rd Kofun Tumulus Car, Saitobaru Sports Park), so please Use them. (with multi-purpose Toilet)
This Car is under renovation, but you can Use the parking lot in front of this Hana Building. (Free)

* Due to renovation work Toilet Konohanakan from October 24 (Thursday), the Inside the Facility Toilet cannot be used. A temporary Toilet has been set up at the Car parking lot in front of this Hanakan, so please Use it.

Saitobaru Guidance Center Konohanakan opened in 2003 (Heisei 15), and 20 years have passed.　
Due to the aging deterioration of the entire facility, including the equipment, and the increase in maintenance and repair costs, and the need to enhance the functions of the facilities to meet the needs of visitors, we will be closed for the following period in order to carry out large-scale renovation work such as renovation of the inside the facility and renewal of equipment in 2024 (Reiwa 6).
In addition, the tourist volunteer guide information center will be relocated to the experience exchange facility (Konohana Workshop) on the south side of Konohanakan and will continue to provide tourist information.
Toilets will be available during periods other than toilet renovation work, exterior wall painting work, and pavement repair work.

私の家族は妹二人と両親のご人家族。この日は久しぶりに家族旅行へ行きました。目的地は高千穂峡。初めての宮崎。自然を味わいリフレッシュできました。

宮崎県にある高千穂峡の写真です。高千穂は日本書紀に出てくることでも有名で、自然豊かで綺麗な渓谷や森林が数多くあります。中でも、高千穂峡は観光スポットとして人気があり、手漕ぎボートで滝のすぐ下まで漕いでいけるなど、ダイナミックな自然を体感でき、おすすめです。

What a cool photo. I keep seeing pictures and stuff of Takachiho Gorge and I really want to go. I watched a video of it on here recently and it was really beautiful. Miyazaki seems like a really fun place to visit in general so it'd fun to get out there and try the boats and see all of the natural scenery. It had some really nice looking shrines that I was interested in visiting as well. It's so hard to visit all of the beautiful places scattered throughout Japan but I've got time so I'm gonna do my best lol. Earned some flight miles this year so I'm definitely heading out somewhere this summer. Maybe it'll be Miyazaki, we'll see. Although I've had my eye on Nagano lately as well so it's a toss up for now.

高千穂峡は、阿蘇の火山活動で噴出した火砕流が五ヶ瀬川に沿って帯状に流れ出し、 急激に冷却されたために出来た柱状の素晴らしい懸崖となった峡谷です。1934年（昭和9）11月10日、国の名勝・天然記念物に指定されていて、日本の滝百選にも選ばれた真名井の滝、槍飛橋などがあります。
九州屈指のパワースポットである高千穂。その中でも高千穂峡の真名井の滝の静寂は特に心癒される神秘的な光景です。

～Takachiho Gorge of silence～
The wonderful columnar cliffs of Takachiho Gorge were formed because the pyroclastic flow erupted by the volcanic activity of Mt. Aso flowed out in strips along the river and was rapidly cooled. This Takachiho Gorge is designated as a National Monument and Natural Monument on November 10, 1934.
Nearby are Manai Falls, one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan, and Yaritobi Bridge.
Takachiho is one of the best power spots in Kyushu. Among them, the quietness of Manai Falls in Takachiho Gorge is a mysterious scene that heals the heart.

⊿ 場所紹介

天照大神が岩戸にお隠れになったさい、天地暗黒となり八百万の神がこの河原に集まり神議されたと伝えられる大洞窟。別名「仰慕ヶ窟（ぎょうぼがいわや）」とも呼ばれています。以前は社のみがあり信仰の対象となっていたが、いつのまにか祈願を行う人たちの手によって石が積まれていくようになりました。現在では無数にある積まれた石が天安河原の神秘的かつ幻想的な雰囲気を一層引き立てています。

実際に調べて行ってみました
鳥居の下は川だと思って行ってちゃんとみたら道でした笑

石がそこらじゅう積み重ねてあり非常に不思議な空間で行ってよかったと感じました！
