This photo captures the essence of Kyoto so well in my opinion. Cherry blossoms and a yakatabune. It's so simple and yet so elegant at the same time. I like how the boat is just slightly obscured by the cherry blossoms and you can feel how the wood on the roof of the boat has aged just by looking at it. Kyoto has so many beautiful sights to see and experiences to try. I'm looking forward to one of these boat rides the next time I go, and I'm also planning on visiting a kawadoko because I've eaten by a river before so I know how refreshing it is, but I've never eaten OVER a river before inside a boat maybe but this is different so I'm looking forward to a new experience. Going to have to visit all the temples and shrines I didn't have the chance to visit before as well.

Cherry blossoms in Fushimi, Kyoto.
The morning sun shone into the cherry blossoms that bloomed like wearing a parked ten-stone boat.

Just beautiful. There's so much happening in this photo when you really look at it. The paper lantern is really the cherry on the cake for me in this one. I read an article a little while ago about the funaya in Ine and thought it was really interesting. It's awesome getting to see fireworks happening there as well, it's like I've discovered a new side of the area that I didn't know about before. I really enjoy fireworks over water too, and there's plenty of great fireworks festivals in Japan that do just that. I was already looking forward to being able to see the boathouses in Ine one day but now I'm looking forward to it even more. Going to line it up with the Ine Fireworks Festival if I can. The reflection of the fireworks on the water looks really awesome as well.

In Ine-cho, Yosa-gun, Kyoto Prefecture, there are many traditional fishermen's buildings called funaya with the first floor as a dock.
I watched the annual Ine fireworks from the hangar of the boathouse.
The light of the lanterns and the sound of fireworks echoing in the hangar all reminded me of the good old Japan.

Ahhh I love watching these kinds of videos. Getting to see food truck/food stall vendors make food is just so organic. It's nice since I'm not able to travel much these days as well not that anybody is really. I've never had gohei mochi, let alone heard of it before, but it reminds me of Akita's Kiritanpo. I think the last food truck item I got was ツブ, snail I guess? I didn't even know that until now lol. My girlfriend loved it, I was a bigger fan of the bacon that went with it. Really hoping I can visit another food stall again soon though as I really miss the yakisoba that they make. The yakisoba from the convenience store is alright, but it doesn't really hold a candle to the food stalls 😂. Just gonna have to keep waiting until it's okay to travel again though. Until then I'm gonna keep watching videos to stay sane lol!

TV anime "Free!" is a swimming-themed anime whose first season began in July 2013. After that, the popular anime will continue in two and third seasons, and a new work is scheduled for theatrical release in 2021. Starting from the protagonists' high school days, going to college, etc. ... Not only can you enjoy growing around swimming, The swimming competition is also carefully drawn, and I think 👍 it will be useful for knowledge when watching actual sports such as the Olympics. There are serious scenes, but there are also many gag scenes, and it is a 😊 work that can be enjoyed in many ways. The main stage of the work is Iwami Town, Tottori Prefecture, so the actual sea and cityscape scenes are also one of ✨ the highlights. "Swimming Pool" will appear in the ending scene of the second season! It looks like you are underwater, and the reflection of blue on the surface of the water is very beautiful ✨. Such a beautiful place. Leave it to Nagano Prefecture to have yet another amazing sightseeing destination surrounded by beautiful scenery. Watching the video felt so calming. It's such a serene atmosphere and feels completely detached from the rest of the world. It makes me imagine an earth where humanity no longer exists and everything is being reclaimed by the earth. I like how there's several different shrines in the area. The gate Zuijinmon just feels like it's a boundary between worlds too very surreal. The massive trees reminded me of the redwoods back when I visited the redwood forest in California. I'd really love to explore this area and find some hidden views. I wonder if it's changed much in the 8 years since this video was taken.

A little later than usual tonight, work had me running late today. But wow! This is so beautiful! It seems like Nagano has so much beautiful scenery. I love the different ropeways that can be found all over Japan as well. I'd love to take a ride on this Kitayatsugatake Ropeway it looks like? Gonna have to wrap up pretty good though for this lol. It's crazy that even this far south of Hokkaido there's so much snow this year. Maybe it's normal for Nagano, I'm not really sure about the weather there normally, but it makes for some lovely photography at least! I'm going to try and get out this weekend, away from the crowds and try and get some fresh air if I can. Hopefully it goes well. Been staying away from crowded areas by just staying home but if I can go on a small trip and still avoid people then it should be fine!

Photographed from the ropeway of Kita Yatsugatake.
It was sunny that day, so we took the ropeway.
However, when I reached the summit, it was cloudy、、。
I can't read the weather in the mountains.
The summit was very cold at -12°C.
