Speaking of Chureito and Mt. Fuji, the most common image is of cherry blossoms in spring, but it is beautiful when Mt. Fuji and Chureito are dyed in color on an autumn day. Visited Fujiiya a small eatery in Kameido famous for its gyoza. It was definitely good, and they had an interesting tare for the gyoza as well. I think it had chashu inside of it and it tasted great. I threw in a little soy sauce as well but I think it's probably perfect without it. I recommend shaking the bottle before pouring it as I had a little too much oil come out instead of the actual sauce. It was also my first time getting shoyu ramen in a while. I'm usually a bigger fan of miso, probably because it feels warm and filling on cold days but is great on hot days too. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by this shoyu ramen, was a really refreshing flavor and the noodles were perfect. The restaurant is really cheap too, I think a normal chashu ramen and 5-piece gyoza was just ¥780, which is super cheap. They also had a lot of cool photos and signatures on the wall from/with famous entertainers like "Downtown," etc. Cool place, definitely recommend it!

Some photos I took during my visit to the Edo-Tokyo Museum. I really enjoyed seeing the recreations of the Edo cityscape and seeing what the city would have looked like back in the day. I like that you can also get a feel for what life was like at that time and you can even see people doing various jobs or holding tools related to them. I enjoyed seeing the boats as well, as it showed how shipping would been carried out at the time, and you also get to see the architecture of the ships, which was really awesome in my honest opinion. I also tried getting a decent photo of Tokugawa Ieyasu but I was really short on time when visiting as the museum was about to close, so I definitely need to go back there again. I wanted to see some of the other exhibits as well, stuff like the Great Kanto Earthquake exhibits, etc. so I have an excuse to visit again lol.

8年ぶりに満月で迎えた中秋の名月。 雲間から顔を出してくれたお月さまに 秋の果物と手作り月見団子をお供え。 ススキの代わりに猫じゃらしで 小さくかわいいお月見会♡

秋の始まりの彼岸花 秋というと紅葉に目がいきがちだけども、彼岸花も秋の始まりを教えてくれます。 辺り一面が彼岸花で、まるで赤い絨毯がひいてあるかのような赤さでした。 これは群馬県にある御獄山自然の森公園で撮りました。 ちょうど夕方で、黄色っぽい優しい光で赤がよく映える良い時間帯に撮れました。

Went canoeing in Hagure, Saitama and I managed to turn red thanks to a nice sunburn. Was super tired the next day after a ton of canoeing but still managed to get a good amount of sightseeing done in Gyoda. Visited Oshi Castle 忍城 and the nearby museum, bought some tabi shoes from a shop that’s been in business for more than 100 years 創作足袋千代の松, stopped by a couple of shrines and enjoyed some of Japan’s scenic beauty. Had a total blast, and one of the locals even gave us some incense as a gift for visiting Gyoda!

I went to Gyoda, where my favorite drama Rikuo was filmed! I found a winning insect pattern at a tabi shop! I was just so excited 🤣.

9月になって、夏も終わって、これから秋がやってくるこの季節の変わり目にちょうど咲くこの｢彼岸花｣ 毎年、咲いている姿をみると夏の終わりの寂しさと、これからは秋なんだなぁと思います。 これは群馬県の境御嶽山自然の森公園で撮りました。 群生してる中でちょうど木漏れ日でキラキラとしていたので、キラキラを強調してみました。

Went to a nearby waterfront park area and saw some yakatabune and other nice views. Got some nice fresh air together and even saw someone catch a fish. It looked like a pretty decent size fish too, but I couldn’t take a photo of it. We realized the planters on the way back were shaped like small boats so I took a photo of one. Thought it was kind of neat
