Its waterjet pump, powered by a gas turbine engine, fires high-pressure water to make it hover and propel it through the water. In the video, the vessel starts floating from around 2:40. Watching the clip, the high standard of Japanese technology is sure to impress you. The Nissan GT-R This video is a promotional video of Nissan's GT-R, titled "Nissan introduces GT-R in Hong Kong." It was published by Nissan. The video was produced to celebrate Nissan's introduction of the 2018 GT-R R35 to Hong Kong. Skyline GT-R is highly popular all around the world. This promotional video shows the excitement brought about by the arrival of the latest model, which many people admire, in Hong Kong. In this article, we will introduce the appeal of the Nissan Skyline GT-R alongside the video. The Skyline GT-R Photo:Nissan The Skyline GT-R is a luxury sports car produced and sold by Nissan. The GT-R is the highest grade of Skyline produced for racing. The one shown in the video is the R35 GT-R, which was introduced to Hong Kong starting with the 2018 model. Starting with the R35 model, the "Skyline" crown has been removed and it's now the "GT-R." It's an ultra-luxury car with a price tag of over ¥10 million (~$95,000 USD), but it's one of the most popular cars in the world. Apart from the newest model, the R35, other popular models from the past, including the R32 at the beginning of the video, the R33NISMO400R at 0:28, and the R34V Spec II Nur at 0:41, are also featured in the video. The history of the GT-R dates back to the 15th Tokyo Motor Show in 1968, when the Skyline GT Racing version, a successor to the Prince Skyline 2000 GT-B, which had been active in touring car racing, was exhibited as a concept car with a Skyline 2000 GT-B body and an in-line 6-cylinder DOH engine. In 1969, the first Skyline GT-R was made commercially available based on these specifications. It has a distinctive appearance with four round tail lights. The Skyline GT-R has also been known as "Hakosuka," "Kenmeri," "R," and "Suka G-R" (in Japan). Many people were captivated by the Skyline GT-R, customizing and modifying it to their own tastes. Today, the GT-R is sold at specialty GT-R shops. Since it's a high-octane gasoline car, its fuel consumption is poor and its maintenance costs are high. However, the tires last longer than ever before and the oil change costs are slightly lower, making the car more affordable than when it debuted. The Appeal of the Skyline GT-R Photo:Nissan GTR The Nissan Skyline GT-R is one of Japan's most iconic high-performance cars. It features a dedicated engine and equipment built to maximize its power in auto racing. The R32, which debuted in 1989, is one of the most popular cars in the GT-R series, with used cars being sold abroad often. The R32 was created as the culmination of Nissan's technology, with the goal of creating a car that could win the All Japan Touring Car Championship. It was equipped with a twin-turbo RB26DETT engine and entered the All Japan Touring Car Championship in 1990. Its design gives off a proud aura and has a charm that draws you in. The Ford Sierra RS500 also participated in the championship, but the R32 was overwhelmingly fast, lapping other cars for the win. The R32 was a first-class car in terms of design, features and equipment, and its subsequent models were also built without any major changes to the design concept or basic engine settings. Summary of the Skyline GT-R Source :YouTube screenshot "Nissan introduces GT-R in Hong Kong," published by Nissan, is a video that introduces the appeal of the Nissan Skyline GT-R. It's a must-see for car fanatics as you can get a close up look at the popular GT-R series. You can also see the Skyline R32 GT-R, Skyline R33 GT-R, Skyline R34 GT-R, and other famous cars of the past. The No. 1 Itasha Event in Japan! Cute Cosplayers and Cars Covered in Anime Wraps at Itasha Heaven!

Introducing Itasha! Have you ever heard the word "Itasha"? In this article, we'll introduce the Japanese pop culture "Itasha" alongside the video, titled "OTAKU CAR HEAVEN 痛車天国2019," produced by "Rescue the Princess!" The video is an introduction to the Itasha event "Odaiba Itasha Heaven 2019" held at the Odaiba outdoor special venue in 2019. Itasha is a form of otaku culture, and is a car with an exterior designed with an anime or game theme, featuring beautiful girl characters or heroines. The name "Itasha" (痛車) comes from the characters "痛" (pain) and "車" (car), literally meaning "painful car," as some people find them painful to look at. Source :YouTube screenshot There are small itasha with stickers on the hood, doors and other parts of the body, as well as fully-wrapped cars with film affixed to the entire car. You can see a number of Itasha throughout the video. In the past, "otaku" culture used to have a somewhat negative image, but now, with the popularity of Japanese anime and manga overseas, "otaku" are respected as authorities and professionals in their field. Fully-wrapped vehicles and airplanes have also appeared in public transit agencies such as airplanes, trains, buses, and motorcycles, and they are very popular with young children and in the otaku community. These vehicles, which are derived from the Itasha and wrapped with characters, are called "Itansha" (motorcycles) and "Itadensha" (trains). In addition to Itasha, you can see a custom bicycle (Itacheri) at 0:22 and a scooter bike (Itansha) at 1:02 in the video. Making Itasha Source :YouTube screenshot Since Itasha designs are based on characters that appear in other works, they are copyrighted. However, since the character Hatsune Miku, which often appears in videos, is a free license, there is no copyright issue if you design your own vehicle with Hatsune Miku. Also, each vehicle can be designed however the owner wants it to be, but if you're a hardcore otaku, you can make your own design with paint and cutting sheets. Recently there are even companies that specialize in Itasha design. Even if you're not an otaku, you can just get a professional to do it for you. In some cases, companies produce itasha by advertising and collaboration, and collaboration itasha, such as Evangelion and Re:Zero, (Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World) were also a hot topic. As for Shinkansen, there is an Evangelion train called "Type EVA" vehicle, and the interior even uses the colors of Evangelion's first mech. Some manufacturers have asked for image collaborations with luxury cars for popular works. In particular, anime and games such as Gundam, Macross, and Super Mario prove the importance of Japanese culture through Itasha. Event Information and Summary of Odaiba Itasha Heaven 2019 Source :YouTube screenshot This video shows cosplay models in a variety of poses, dressed in gorgeous cosplay to add to the appeal of the Itasha. As you can see from 3:21 in the video, there's also a talk show with songs and voice actors on the event stage, so you can see that this isn't just an event to look at the cars. More than 1,000 Itasha participated in the event, the largest of its kind in Japan, in Odaiba that day. Otaku culture, which originated in Akihabara, has now taken off from Japan and is attracting attention around the world. In other words, Itasha Heaven is the largest exhibition of Itasha in the world. As long as there is anime and manga culture in Japan, so too will there be an Itasha culture! Itasha are also known as "Moesha" (cute cars) among otaku, and to otaku "cute" is justice! -

Introducing "Lady" "C571 SL Yamaguchi-go - Lady's return!- 2019 Oct 19-20(C571 SLやまぐち号 【貴婦人完全復活!】 2019.10.19-20)" is a 4K video that captures the steam train that runs between Shin-Yamaguchi Station and Tsuwano (Yamaguchi Prefecture) on the JR West Yamaguchi Line. In 2019, SL Yamaguchi-go celebrated its 40th anniversary since its return. A commemorative event held at the relevant stations and in the train, attracted many fans. The old-fashioned steam train chugging along with smoke coming out of its stack, its whistle, and the steam shooting out the side is spectacular to watch. Enjoy the video of the retro-chic locomotive train. About the Steam Locomotive, SL Yamaguchi-go Photo:The SL Yamaguchi-go C571 The steam train C571 was withdrawn from mainline service in 1965, but made a comeback in 1979 owing to the passionate requests from local enthusiasts and steam locomotive fans. As of November 2019, it runs between Shin-Yamaguchi and Tsuwano that takes about 2 hours and only runs on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. This elegant machine is popularly known as "Lady". Steam Locomotives are powered by a steam engine: The water contained in a boiler turns into steam when heated, and creates high pressure. Because of this, steam locomotives puff black smoke and big gray clouds of steam when they depart (seen in the video from 1:21). The video shows the SL Yamaguchi-go running through the autumn landscapes in the area stretching between Yamaguchi city and Tsuwano. Cosmos flowers swaying in the wind along the track present an astonishing coincidence of mixed colors, making a fine contrast with the black body of the steam train (from 6:25). You can take beautiful pictures of the SL Yamaguchi-go when it crosses Tsuwano Bridge, or passes by Honmonmae Crossing, Nakaza Crossing, or Nayoshi District. The impressive sight of the train making a turn on the railway turntable also offers a perfect photo opportunity. The SL Yamaguchi-go typically pulls 5 coaches, but occasionally gets double-headed with another steam locomotive, D51200 (Degoichi) -

There are also plastic models, radio controlled dekotora, and the truck game “Bakuso Dekotora Legend” that you can purchase, so you can enjoy dekotora at home as well. There are different styles for decorating dekotora as well. Some categories are “Gundam Art,” “Modern Art,” “Kansai-style Art,” and “Retro Art.” The History of Japan's Dekotora Source :YouTube screenshot The origin of Japan's dekotora is said to be from seafood transport trucks using stainless steel plates to fix the deterioration of the body. This deterioration was due to the effects of the snow-melting agents. The movie “Truck Guys” which was released in 1975, sparked a boom in popularity and many people began making dekotora. The famous vehicle "Ichiban boshi" which appeared in "Truck Guys," was turned into a plastic model and became very popular among children at the time. Unfortunately, the movie "Truck Guy" received complaints from the police due to its explicit depictions and the movie was discontinued. Because of this, the dekotorora craze slowly began to fade away. Currently, with movies such as "Dekotora Girl Nami" and "The Eagle of Dekotora," dekotora have once again gained public attention. Summary of Japan's Dekotora Source :YouTube screenshot In this video we showed, "【HD】Story of the modified vehicles~The latest Dekotora Episode②~,” produced by “Tenku Ranbuー Custom Videosー"; a video that introduces Japan's flashy dekotora trucks. Dekotora are decked out with beautifully illuminated electronics and paint, and their impressive appearance fascinates onlookers. These flashy dekotora go for a pretty penny, even used. Currently, dekotora are on the decline; However, videos of them on platforms such as Instagram, have garnered a lot of attention, so if you're interested, definitely check them out! -

A Fusion of Sports Bike and Japanese Steel - The Pride of Suzuki Motor This video, titled "KATANA official promotional video : FEEL THE EDGE | Suzuki," is an introductory video of the famous motorcycle "KATANA," produced by the world renown automobile and motorcycle manufacturer, Suzuki. At 0:07 in the video, we're greeted by the flames of a forge and a hammer striking steel. Shortly after, the beautiful design of Japanese sword appears. This is followed by a series of fast-paced scenes in which a samurai wearing a visor makes a powerful slash, creating the sharp edges of Suzuki's "Katana." At 1:32, in the video, the samurai transforms into the rider, racing down the track on the KATANA. It's a very cool video, reminiscent of a samurai riding full speed into battle. About Suzuki's KATANA Photo:Suzuki Motorcycle The KATANA, a masterpiece of a motorcycle possessing Suzuki's own sharp and aggressive form, was born in 1981, some 40 years ago. At that time, its unparalleled sharp design captured the hearts of riders and spawned a loyal following. The first classic KATANA type was the GXS110, a prototype with a cowling that was announced at the 1980 motor show in Germany. At that time, opinions on the radical design with a motif of a Japanese sword were divided, and it was said that it would never be mass-produced with such a design. However, mass production of the old KATANA began in 1981, with only the 1100cc variant being released. But its popularity grew and it was made into a series of 750cc, 400cc, and 250cc variants. The development was temporarily discontinued in 2000, but the older models are still incredibly popular to this day, and used and custom bikes are sold at high prices. The GSX250SS KATANA, a faithful reproduction of the first KATANA released in 1991, is said to be the most popular of the successive generations that have been released. More About the Latest KATANA Source :YouTube screenshot In 2019, Suzuki announced the long awaited production of a new model KATANA. Prior to this, the KATANA 3.0, a prototype of the new bike, was unveiled at the EICMA 2017 Milan show and generated a lot of buzz among bikers. Suzuki’s flagship model, Suzuki Naked, is used in the new KATANA’s engine. It also has a full LCD-type multi-function display, which improves the visibility and operability of the fuel consumption gauge and speedometer. The new supersport bike has a more distinctive appearance with a sharper cowling than the KATANA of yesteryear. Summary of Suzuki’s New KATANA Source :YouTube screenshot The new KATANA was launched in 2019 to the delight of many motoring enthusiasts, and thanks to improvements to the engine and suspension, it takes less time to reach top speed. The new Katana's design is sharper and more ambitious than ever before, and it's sure to attract both old fans and newcomers to the bike. The new KATANA will be available in one model and two colors, with prices starting at 1,540,000 yen. For more information, check out Suzuki's official website. The Queen Ashinoko is the 3rd pirate ship that is in service on Hakone's largest lake, Lake Ashinoko. Hakone is a hot spring resort area representing East Japan, and the area is full of tourists year round. However, the appeal of Hakone is not just the hot springs. Going for a cruise on Lake Ashinoko is also one of the major attractions of sightseeing in Hakone, and, as shown in the footage, in 2019, the 3rd pirate ship "Queen Ashinoko" went into service. It has a gleaming golden hull and the design, with its luxurious and classic interior using wood, has become widely talked about and is already very popular. You can see the appearance of the beautiful hull at 4:57 during its commencement ceremony. The Queen Ashinoko was named after a pirate ship, and was designed as a tourist ship of luxury and elegance, with the concept of "from a ship that fights to a ship that prays for peace..."On the bow is a statue of Nike of Samothrace, which is exhibited at the Louvre Museum. It is designed as a luxurious and elegant sightseeing ship. In order to make use of the classical design as a pirate ship, Dawn Design Institute was asked to undertake the basic design; and as shown at 0:35 in the video, Mr. Eiji Mitooka, who served as the industrial designer, says that he was very particular about pursuing a sense of fun, comfort, and luxuriousness from the customer’s point of view. Building the Pirate Ship and How It Was Transported Source :YouTube screenshot Typically, shipyards are located by the sea. Even ships like Queen Ashinoko, that are located in the mountains are built near the sea. In fact, Queen Ashinoko was built at a shipyard in Tsurumi, Yokohama, in Kanagawa Prefecture. But then how was such a massive ship like the Queen Ashinoko brought to Hakone? Well actually, the basic manufacturing of the frame and exterior was done at the shipyard, and then the hull was disassembled into 10 blocks and transported to Hakone by land. You can see the transport at 1:30 in the video. After being transported to Hakone in a large trailer, the Queen Ashinoko was assembled at the owner's company's dock, and then the finishing touches of painting and interior work were done, and finally it was completed. The actual assembly process is shown at 2:37 in the video. You can see that the entire process, including the golden paint job, is carried out by shipbuilding specialists. The wooden interior design was designed by computer and laser engraved for a beautiful finish. Queen Ashinoko is the first ship in Japan to have a laser-engraved interior design using computer graphics. The Launch Ceremony in April 2019!
